Emissions targets, circularity requirements, regulation, market conditions, and disruption risks can all change over the lifetime of a network. ReSolVe develops decision methods that treat resilience and regulatory readiness as properties of supply chain design rather than as checks applied afterwards. It combines multi-objective optimization with evolving regulatory, climatic, and market scenarios to study how constraints propagate through supply networks, how trade-offs between continuity, cost, and compliance change over time, and when supplier, capacity, or network decisions should be reconsidered. The methods are calibrated and stress-tested using procurement and operational data from brewing and packaging supply chains, with the aim of supporting supply chain designs that remain workable as external conditions tighten and disruptions unfold.
Supply chains are increasingly designed under constraints that do not stay fixed. ReSolVe asks when a supply chain configuration remains viable as these conditions evolve, and when redesign becomes necessary.
